In the course of supporting existing hardware and software for a steel company, we observed that the company was using multiple dial-up phone lines to access the internet, as well as a dedicated data line. Teknarus worked with the client to evaluate other options and to establish affordable high-speed internet access through a local provider. This simple solution improved employee efficiency, provides a mechanism for communicating with customers, vendors, and employees, and is saving the company several thousand dollars a year.
Mortgage Firm Tracks Performance & Saves Time with Custom Web Application
When a local mortgage specialty firm with multiple locations in Louisiana realized that its current reporting system had become time-consuming and cumbersome, it turned to Teknarus for a solution. The company had been utilizing Excel spreadsheets to track the daily activities of its consultants. At the end of each month, the consultants would forward their spreadsheets to a central location for the time-intensive process of compiling the information for reporting purposes. Teknarus developed and implemented a custom web application that captures the daily activity of each consultant and provides real-time reporting and tracking. Not only has this solution eliminated the time-consuming chore of compiling daily and monthly reports, it also:
tracks employee performance, including commissions to be paid;
tracks the effectiveness of marketing programs and promotions;
allows for lender volume reporting;
and provides a performance dashboard with graphical representation of key business indicators.
